Through case studies and group discussion, this course will help staff to develop skills and confidence in supporting children and young people with emotional and mental health needs, including anxiety, depression and self harm.
- This one-day course is delivered by 2 Educational Psychologist and focuses on strategies to promote emotional wellbeing.
- Helps to develop a deeper understanding of the complex issues relating to the mental health of children and young people.
- Participants will develop their understanding of the psychological impact of emotional and mental health such as anxiety, self harm & depression
- Will be encouraged to develop skills that help to identify suitable approaches in supporting young people mental health needs.
