Course for Early Years Practitioners, Teachers, Teaching Assistants working with Visually Impaired Children

Description

A one day course run by professionals working with visually impaired children in a range of settings. This course will help you understand the causes and impact of visual impairment and how to successfully include a visually impaired child into your settings. You will also gain hands on experience with adapting resources and working with specialist equipment.

Outcomes

To understand how visual impairment impacts upon a child’s academic, social and emotional development. To receive practical tips on how to help include a visually impaired child in your setting. To gain an improved understanding of resources and technology to support a visually impaired child
