Our aim: to support teaching, learning and caring, by increasing staff confidence and competence, in responding to behaviours that challenge, whilst promoting and protecting positive relationships.

Participants will receive a Course Workbook and Certificate. (Certification for this course is valid for 36 months).
By the end of the session you will have:
non-verbal communication, diversion and de-escalation and safe effective, humane physical interventions.
- Developed shared values which promote the attitude, skill and knowledge needed to implement Team-Teach in the workplace
- Practised positive handling skills in behaviour management including verbal and
- Explored skills in positive listening and debrief.
At least two members of staff need to attend the training, one of which should be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (unless already trained)

Please wear loose fitting clothing, such as a tracksuit, that enables you to flex at hip and knee without restriction and will not inhibit your movement and handling of people. Please ensure you wear flat supportive shoes with non-slip soles, which allow you to flex your ankle freely.
